Went to Torinos Mulbarton today. Ordered half Portuguese chicken, the special of the day. Chicken was dry and tasteless. Swimming in oil. Chips average. Meal took quite a long time to arrive,considering I was only one eating in the restaurant. Other patrons just having drinks. Sorry not returning. There are better places to eat at Mall of the South.
The pizza’s here used to be spectacular, however as of late they have slightly gone down in quality. I still thoroughly enjoy the garlic chicken pizza here though. Drinks here are of a fair price and the vibe here on weekends isn’t bad. Management and staff here are ALWAYS friendly :).

A great little spot to pop in for a pizza for lunch. The ingredients are fresh and the cheese is generous in portions. It’s the right amount of ‘busyness’ to still get a great conversation in.
Located at the Aspen Hills Estate, yet very affordable. I always have a great time at Torninos. We’ve been to a few functions there and I have the usual Friday lunch date there. The garbage pizza with just about everything on it is a MUST, but not for the ‘not so hungry’. Calamari salad is the regular lunch meal for me – literally melt in your mouth calamari and fresh parmesan shavings. The owner or manager always engage with their customers. The waiters are on point. Def n gem in the South of Jhb.
