Mohammedy’s serves simple fare but it’s consistent and affordable. I highly recommend the rice and curry lunch. Yummy, large portions, and done just right.You know you’re in Fordsburg when you can just walk in and there’s a steaming, giant cauldron of food waiting for you at noon. Do try Mohammedy’s if you’re near the Oriental Plaza. It’s worth walking across the road for! The restaurant is on the corner of Main and Lilian Road, in an old building with artists’ studios upstairs.
