For most of us, going to Great Dane is after being at neighborhoods.It’s therefore difficult to rate the food, we are usually from eating and just drink there and enjoy and very good vibe.It has a great energy and nice djays.I highly recommend you for the afternoon and evening.
Weekend chilling at this place is everything! Very cool spot to hang with friends after a session at the market. Can’t say much about the food as we went there for drinks after lunching at Neighborgoods.
This is one of my favourite hangout spots in Joburg & there’s hardly ever a week when I don’t come here. I don’t eat here very often, but the times I do, I am never disappointed. I usually have the Boerbull, which is their boerewors roll in a seeded bun. They recently added some new stuff to their menu, which I tried & I was not disappointed at all. We had a snack basket which comes with sliced sausage, ribs & chicken strips. All were lovely, I just wish that the rib bones were a lot smaller cause they are quite tough to eat with the long length. Their drinks are lovely too – I HIGHLY recommend their Long Island; which is my personal favourite. They also have a buy one get one free special for their cocktails till 7pm. Definitely one of my favourite places in Braamfontein.
I mean I wouldn’t eat at here but it’s a great hangout spot! If you’re looking for a great spot to hangout on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon it’s a must! Try it out it’s where all the cool kids are
