Fazel runs a good, efficient operation here – the place gets super busy at lunch time but moves and staff are all attentive – if in a hurry, best to order ahead, they keep your food warm. Been unable to try the majority options as they are not veg, but the veg items I have tried were nice. Lovely, not too oily, fresh, slap chips a winner! Good portions, quality ingredients, no complaints. If you’re looking for a good SA Indian cheat treat meal in Braamies, def give Spanners a try.
Situated next to my office, this place serves nice grilled chicken & burgers and all their meat is halaal. This place also serves some indian curries, which is bit hard to find in this area. Around lunch time, this gets a long queue, as it is frequented by many working in this area. Its more like a take-away place, though they have some limited seating, but haven’t seen many eating there mostly.
