The owner is as entitled, uncaring about patronage and as rude as their oily- rubbery chips as they hit the back of your throat!I wouldn’t recommend this place purely because of the owners attitude! #Ubuntu goes a long way!P.S she is also vile to her employees, so much so that they are AFRAID of her!
The Shop around the corner serves hearty homemade meals. Great value. My favorite is the beef stew, rice and any 2 veg, well worth the walk at lunch time. Our offices order breakfast and snack platters for meetings regularly. .
An age old institution still turning out tasty simple food. Never disappoints. Be sure to try the beef stew. When I was working at the bank, we would order their platters at least once a month. A treat.
You can customise your meal here. I love getting the lasagne with noodle salad. I haven’t tried anything else, because the lasagne just does it for me. As for snacks, the cheese muffins are delish. Make sure you grab them before they sell out. I was lucky enough to get the last two at 7 in the morning and have been dreaming of them since. They can be preordered by the dozen though.
