Absolutely delicious dim sum- ideal for sharing with a big group as you can just order one or two of everything and taste a few of all of them. Friendly and fast service and really love the decor. It was quiet when we were there but I think that when it’s busy it must have a great vibe. Will definitely be back for more dim sum!

“Meet me in Town” – only ONE of the cool things about this intimate and fresh space in Workshop Newtown. Newtown is banging on ‘hipster’ doors and we cannot keep our hands off any longer. Town is perfectly placed between designer shops and fill the classy but down to earth cocktail, event, exhibition and pop-up space we didn’t even know we were looking for.We enjoyed one of our favourite craft ciders, Sxollie, here and a Striped Horse beer; nothing on tap yet, but they are oh so creative with cocktails. It was a quick stop, but we’ll soon visit for a late lunch snack of dim-sum. Young chef Canaan ‘Sbu’ Msongelwa presents a simple yet unique menu that includes pork, fennel and apple dim sum, butternut and ginger, chicken and coriander and salmon and cream cheese dim sum, to name a few. This coffee-shop-by-day, cocktail-chill-spot-by-night, is perfectly decorated with splashes of green from hanging plants and modern dark blue/black simplistic furniture including a wonderful dramatic modern bar space. The windows closing off this room looks out and attracts every potential customer; a part of the very inviting style that Town presents. We look forward to popping in to Town once or twice again, and we’re looking out for events held in this fresh spot.

I really enjoyed my experience here, we used a groupon voucher for dim sum and bubbly for two and the dim sum itself was tasty and full of flavour, and service was quick and efficient. The restaurant itself is cool and trendy and has a great feeling to it. Would happily go back

Hipster central- very trendly little dim sum bar in the heart of Newtown. We used a Groupon voucher which included dim sum and sparkling wine for two, which left us slightly hungry but was good value for money. The interior is super minimalistic and calm, and the dim sum itself is incredible which is why it might take a while to prepare. I would recommend this spot for a light lunch after roaming around the Workshop in which it is situated.
