used to be really good but since the beginning of 2018 the food has been lousy. the food takes forever to be prepared, the upstairs area is unclean. ordered nachos and was given doritos in place of tortilla chips. standards have really gone down.
Im not sure if its because its under new management or what but there cockroaches every where in the upstairs area. One couple even left because of that. The waitress got our order wrong after waiting for quite some time to recieve the order, she was not great at listening and the pork sausages were under cooked not once but twice which would have made us sick if we ate them. Very underwhelming . This used to be my favourite place for breakfast but not anymore.. Not hating just being honest.

The music from from the pizzeria can get too loud, but the atmosphere is a great.Good for a quick meal or even a hang out spot with friends.
This is long overdue but since it was closer to class I happened to make my way there with my friend and oh! Also because the Mac showroom is diagonally opposite to this cafe. I ordered the burger with bacon and cheese and it was alright. Their coffee was also decent. Cute little place but you should ask for the specials once you get there.
I had lunch with a few friends at Velo during the week and I really cant complain. First thing’s first, they haven’t updated their menu on Zomato so don’t bank on being able to order what you looked up online once you get there. I really like that they have a salad option for the contents of the sandwiches – its a great way to avoid bread (aka carbs lol) without missing out on some really great flavours. I had their club as a salad and it was well prepared. Great ratio of everything; from the lettuce to the bacon to the chicken to the avo. They weren’t stingy with their meat and cheese and then overloaded on lettuce like most restaurants do. It was a quiet morning so there’s not much else I can say. The service was good and the staff friendly. I don’t like their plastic water cups though. I had a plastic cup while my friend had a glass so I definitely raised an eyebrow at the consistency of standard. But overall, it wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely go back for lunch or breakfast.
