It’s not 100% authentic thai so don’t get excited, it is Southafricanized Thai. Nevertheless, it’s nice, the place is not very lively but comes on top of what you can find as Thai food in the area.
Value & Flavour. Best way to describe ‘2 Thai 4’. Great options, especially the duck options. The ambience is very authentic, personally I would prefer a slightly ‘tidier’ venue but this is just personal preference. Great food — definitely recommended.
Great service made up for a very average meal. we had two chicken dishes one of which was recommended as a house favourite, both had a very basic soy sauce with not much to recommend it, with warmed through chicken and veg. Not sure it this even saw a wock as the veggies had a distinct frozen food feel. Broccoli, diced green beans and zucchini. Not particularly crisp or fresh for what I would expect from a thai dish. Felt like I was eating a basic asian take away but over paying for it. The spring rolls are average spring rolls so nothing special. very very average. I could do a better dish with more flavour. Nothing to recommend this
Lovely place, great food and very accommodating staff! The sarter platter and whole fish in red curry and coconut are definitely worth a try!
