I’ve been to Fire & Ice on a few occasions mostly for their delightful milkshakes which is always on point. So when I decided to go there for supper and try out one of their main menu items I was bitterly disappointed. As a burger fan , I decided to give their spicy Moroccan lamb burger a try whilst my partner decided to go for the chicken burger.Both burgers were tough and over cooked ! Thechicken was chewy and difficult to eat . On the other hand the lamb burger was overdone which I sent back. My second lamb burger which was equally tough was very average even though it was nicely spiced with a decent “kick”. In my opinion burgers should be juicy and tender , and this was clearly lacking ! Given the hefty prices I feel there little margin for error, so I expect good food of the highest quality ! When it comes to service, it was a bit slow but very pleasant nonetheless. The manager was more than accommodating so much so he offered us a complimentary milkshake, for the burger been sent back to the kitchen.Fire & Ice boasts a cosy, lovely atmosphere ! If I do go back it’s definitely for the milkshakes and nothing more ..
Worst Service ever! I decided to investigate after waiting 45 minutes for our milkshakes, only to discover our order hadn’t begun to be made. The guys at the milkshake bar weren’t even busy with another order! When the order did arrive, it was incorrect! We then had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct milkshake for our special birthday guest. I asked to see a manager and when she came out of the kitchen area she told the waiter (in full view of me) that she didn’t want to talk to anyone. Needless to say we found somewhere else for lunch and won’t be back.
