Our meal was delicious but I feel their prices are steep especially for sitting down. I was not impressed by an elderly lady who I assume was the owner. No smile very unfriendly. Our waitress was good and attentive.
I waited VERY LONG and paid just under R400 for a std hake and chips for 4 people, which came with a piece of hake and a small portion of chips – not nearly enough for 2 people to share as is the norm from other fish and chips shops, so the listing of R100 for 2 people (average) is totally untrue. The old lady wasn’t at all friendly, plus she wore a see-through top.
The food is always great but they totaly ripped me off. They charged me R240.00 for 2 pieces of hake and 2 greek salads. That is a very steep price for what we got. I took pictures of the meal and dont feel like that salad(mostley lectuce) is worth 43 per bowl never mind the R77.00 per piece of grilled hake(no chips) they charged me.
As far as fish and chips are concerned,best on the West Rand.Great service, only negative is the early closing time.Added bonus is bring your own wine
