This takeaway restaurant has the nicest owners and very helpful.Their food is up to standard and what you order is what you’re gonna get, nothing special or extraordinary.But will say that their sushi is rather expensive compared to other takeaway sushi restaurants in the area.
Asia House, now called Asian Twist, has been a favourite of mine for years now. Their Thai food is delicious and very well priced. My favourites include the sushi, many Thai dishes (be sure to tell them how hot you want it) and then a few Chinese dishes such as Chow Faan. A great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner if you are in the area.
In my search for good Asian takeaway, Asia House is definitely a top contender. I’ve had the pork chow faan, lunch platter and fried sushi. They were all amazing, especially the chow faan, which was so flavourful. I will definitely become a regular and try other dishes on the menu.
Good cheap sushi. Hugely disappointed by the service. Wanted to order a platter but don’t eat tuna, asked them to swop out for salmon or prawn maki (exact same price on the menu). Waitress rudely and dismissively refused to do so saying that the chef is too busy to change the platters even though I can see him standing, arms folded, doing nothing behind the counter.
Exceptionally fresh fish, super affordable food and quick delivery. The sushi rice fell apart unfortunately, which made it difficult to eat. The bao filling is amazing, but I wish it had a dipping sauce for the actual dumpling
