I used to eat here often but something has gone terribly wrong. The service is right up there with the worst you’ll experience in Joburg. They forget orders, and when the food does come, it’s clear they’re in a rush cos the sushi hasn’t even been rolled – it just falls apart. It’s a pity because if it wasn’t so badly run, it could do ok: good location, food most times not so bad. As it is, it can’t really compete at the moment. As Trump would say, sad!

I love the fact that this restaurant has a Wednesday sushi special, where you can buy one and get one free.But the sushi that I received was almost completely just rice and no salmon. A few of the California rolls literally consisted out of only rice and seaweed.2nd time ordering (just because I was close by)- Never again I’ll order here. Disappointed again.The sushi was sooo small. I had a complete platter of 24 pieces and it was like a starter on a menu.No thanks! For what I paid, kinda feel like getting my money back.
Although they are probably the cheapest sushi place I know, their ingredients are not the freshest. They’re heavy handed with the rice. The place has a weird smell and it’s quite dark.
