Gorgeous location and adorable decor! Perfect breakfast spot with strong coffee. Our waiter was lovely and really cheered up two pre-coffee grumps. For breakfast I ordered the smashed Avo and it came with mozzarella, pesto and tomatoes – the best combination. You can make your own breakfast here and that is what my friend did, it all came exactly to order. They nailed our eggs, which is rare and I applaud the chef for getting both the soft poached and the medium fried correct.

The service was prompt. Place has nice decor but nothing spectacular. The food isn’t amazing, usual Cafe style fare. We had halloumi veggie wraps and were satisfied with them.

The salt grinder has ground salt in it so as you turn it over your food it just pours out. After raising this to manager she said sorry and didn’t bother to remove the salt grinder. The food my wife has was also tasteless and the service is super slow. Don’t recommend.

A charming spot that seems popular for breakfasts with a mixture of families, runners and pooch lovers. They certainly know how to make the perfect poached egg which is an art in itself. Comfy environment that is well located in the parks, service is relaxed. Parking during the day can be a bit of a challenge on the busy main street, choosing a quieter side street with walking down tree lined lanes just adds to the enjoyment. They have a convenient online booking option and also cater for larger functions.

It’s always busy and I’ve always wanted to try it out. I love that there are people reading newspapers here and the overall concept and location. It turned out to be quite pricey, though the breakfasts were nice.. good fresh juice and iced coffee’s.
