I had a vegetarian platter here the other day as I need to test out spots for an upcoming sushi dinner for extended family. The sushi was good and the ginger and wasabi portions were generous which is also a bonus. The only reason I didn’t give it a 4 is because I think it’s a bit pricey.

Learn how to use a recipe book and train your staff properly. Your pad thai is krap and in no way, shape or form resembles the proper dish. Sushi rice overcooked and squeezed into white putty. Shockingly bad. If you want not even cheap crud that doesn’t even resemble the dishes it is supposed to, please, by all means, eat here
Great spot, kind and friendly staff, however a rather difficult menu to read and difficult rules for the sushi buffet. Sushi can be improved, however, will give it another shot
Nice food and a lovely ambience. The available wines are better quality locals that other sushi restaurants typically don’t serve. Unfortunately, there’s no wine list and the waitress expected me to leave my table to go look at the bottles. The menu on Zomato is also outdated and the real prices are substantially higher (R150 for two became almost R500 for two). Back at my table the tablecloth was full of holes and stains and the waitress brought rainbow rolls instead of fashion sandwiches. Considering that a 10% service fee is compulsory, I’d rather eat somewhere else.
