I would say the food is good value for money and definitely delicious, however, the staff seem to lack a professional appearance and that brought my review decision down. With our waitress sleeping inside to other waitrons not helping our table, to my glass of water having maybe things floating in it – it was saved by the manager/owner with a friendly and welcoming smile – remembering every customers name by heart. Their desserts inside are a take away must.
A nice spot in Linden for a quick breakfast or lunch. Unfortunately, the menu is old and could do with an update. I had the avo and halloumi salad, which was served on a bed of lettuce, tomato and onion. It was a bland and boring attempt at a salad and included a hair. However, the jug of sangria we had was nicely executed and very enjoyable. The staff seem like they don’t really want to be there and aren’t very friendly so it wasn’t a great experience.
Was a waste of time and petrol. Took our mothers there for Mother’s Day and turned out to be such a disappointment. My mothers toasted sandwich was pathetic. Had such little Salami and cheese she might as well have had plain toast, this is after it was brought on white bread when we ordered Rye, to top it off it wasn’t cheap. The service was shocking, the waitress wasn’t in any mood to be there. My wife asked for tomato sauce and was told they were out, a few mins later another waiter took a bottle to another table. To really top it off, the reason we took our mothers there is they advertise on the Entertainer App (I’m not cheap but in today’s economy it’s difficult). When we got there and had already ordered drinks we asked what is on the discount food wise and we were told we can’t use the app on public holidays, days like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc. A day we wanted to make special and was such a let-down.
