I felt like cake and so I drove from Bedfordview to Hyde park on a Thursday – early evening. I had never been here so my hopes were high. My excitement was short lived as I was greeted by a choice of either baked cheese (which I can’t stand) and carrot cake. I had hoped for a wider selection of cake.I was about to leave and the waitress brought 2 complimentary savoury rolls. They were divine. Out of guilt I stayed and had the chocolate brownies which were okay. My waitress abandoned me for a little while. Felt so lonely as there were only 2 other tables filled at the restaurant.I am too distraught to return anytime soon. I am still hurt by the lack of cake.It is a cute venue for baby and bridal showers.
