I like this little spot. There is not much choice in the area. Super friendly service. Food is good and consistent (I have the same burger every time).The only downside is the price. Pretty steep for what you get.
I was certainly hyped up by the name, rumours and perception of this restaurant but was somewhat dissapointed at the end; the burger (although big) lacked flavour, toppings and overall presentation – not something difficult to get wrong. Nothing bad or off-putting about the experience but I feel that it isn’t great value for what you get. Overall, more burger (flavour-wise) could be had for less money. Pity.

The owner was friendly and it was refreshing to meet an owner who could really engaged with his patrons. I would definitely recommend this place to others..
After a busy morning at Gallager, my husband suggested Mr Bojangles.I love supporting small business owners, so whe went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.The small centre where the restaurant is situated,don’t really give you a very good impression of the place, felt a bit scaly.I must add that the owner is very friendly and that his personal customer service is comforting.We ordered drinks, and the Large Bacon and avo burger with extra fries on the side. The portions are really big, and the burgers taste really good. Overall we enjoyed our lunch.I think that the place has a lot of potential, but is definetly in the wrong area.
If not the best burgers in Joburg, they’re certainly the largest I’ve had. Especially if you go for the ‘Great’ option. You are spoilt for choice in terms of toppings. And they’re not shy with the quantities. Rather go for a plate of chips for the table instead of individual portions. They don’t hold back on the sauce which can make it quite messy, so rather ask for it on the side. Always friendly service. Open during normal office hours.
