The food is always decent but the service is always shocking. Don’t bother ordering a take away – it is always wrong. I’ve also heard the child minders in the kids play areas work a 12 hour shift 6 days a week for a pathetic salary. Pity the owner doesn’t run his restaurant better. Only worth going to for the kids play area.
What: A family-friendly restaurant with a fair menu selection, play-area and some open space for the kids to play.Why: You have kids, you live in Waterfall and you like to pretend that you’re classier than SpurWhy not: Because in reality you’re still in Spur. You’re eating the same level of food, getting the same level of service and you’re surrounded by the same level of person. The children’s play area is also the same level of dirty.
This place is a bit like the concept of the waterfall estate, boring, and in the box. It’s a very average place, it’s a nice setting – but the food is below average (wow I’m using average a lot), and the service is below par. I suspect it may tick along because of location – it wouldn’t survive outside of the estate.
