Although there are tables and chairs, this is more of a takeaway restaurant. I tried their bean bunny chow and Durban-style veg biryani. The bean bunny was fresh and tasty. The biryani was excellent value for money at R45 and authentic with none of that frozen veg nonsense. Portion sizes on the biryani is huge. I’ve ordered this dish numerous times and we easily make 3 servings from a single portion. The cashier is busy at the front and back of the shop. She runs around like an energizer bunny which could explain her lack of friendliness. This is my do-to place for Durban cuisine.

Tried calling to order but after 4 failed attempts we decided to drive to the restaurant.The cashier had a bad attitude and did not know what was going on. After ordering my meal, we went to get something for my boyfriend, having collected his order, I got back and my food was not even ready for collection. Poor service and not having the item that this restaurant prides itself in doesnt warrant another visit from me at all.
Dear Jolly pepper I absolutely love your food however your customer service is horrific!!! I just called to place an order, the person taking my order was rude ,blunt and did not even ask for my name or number when I asked what the total cost will be and how long before I can collect. The response where just come and then he hung up the phone! Is it even worth it to collect my order?
The MrD online order system worked well. Good was ready for collection on time. Order was correct. Portions good size. Curry and Bryani very tasty. Perfect for a close by quick and good curry take away.
