Very empty, ordered a castle lite draught, got served some weird craft beer, that wasn’t even similar, I tried to complain, just got dissed, no management around, great place for kids, but expensive and not amazing, pity is a great location and could be amazing, wont be back
Been here twice now, both times with work colleagues. First visit was pleasant and good was enjoyed by most, but second time was a bit disappointing. Although my meal was good, I was the only one who liked my meal. Service could definitely be better (on both occasions). Outdoor area is nice on a sunny day, however not nice enough to ignore an average meal with substandard service.
What an absolute disappointment. After discovering the restaurant and looking at their menu prior to going, I was really keen to have a treat of a meal. My fillet steak was made well but my roast vegetables were burnt. My onion rings were overly done. My portobello mushroom sauce was overwhelmingly salty. The lights outside were not all working and it just added to tje experience being quite poor. My friend had lamb chops that were overly salted. They were they were taken back to the kitchen and another batch was made only this time they were too charred. Please pull up your socks. Great location, big space- if the food was better you’d pack in the numbers.
