It was such a cool experience. It looks completely dodgey and abandoned from the outside but inside is beautiful and luxurious. Great cocktails very potent. This was the half chicken with dumpling. It was the so succulent and delicious!! Don’t be afraid to try out this awesome place.
Authentic Shisa nyama with all the trimmings in the North is hard to come by. I’ve been to this branch a few times and always opt for the braaied meat with spinach, chakalaka and dumplings. The service has always been appalling, with waiters approaching customers after a long wait and there not being a menu with prices to look at before ordering but the food was good so I returned. After my last visit, I will not be returning. They finally had a menu but the quality of the food has dropped. The meat was undercooked and left me feeling underwhelmed and the chakalaka smelted like it was going to go off soon. The ambience is good for sundowners and it’s quite busy and vibey in the evenings but the quality of the food is inconsistent.

The reviews made me delay my visit but then decided to give it a try with my friend in a Saturday,and to my suprise the place is very cool,we ordered platter meat was done perfectly, service went well.Music great. Oh they do have a menu.So yeah certainly going back..
