I cannot begin to express how beautiful this venue is. With its old french countryside villa aesthetic I can only imagine what it looks like in summer when all the flowers are in bloom. The food was delicious but I was slightly disappointed with how small the selection in the menu is. Nevertheless the food tasted great and was presented beautifully. We ordered the Gorgonzola cheesecake and the Bruschetta as well as a white chocolate torte for dessert. The staff are very polite and welcoming. I will definitely be back perhaps next time to host a tea and spend a night in one of their suites.
This venue is tranquility personified. The grounds and gardens are so beautiful. Soothing classical music playing in the background. Staff are very professional and friendly, charmingly dressed in formal black tie and top hats. Food was delicious, freshly prepared with the best quality ingredients and served hot. I tasted several veg quiches, pasties, muffins, fruit , biscuits, juices and selection of teas. Flawless food, decor, ambience
Was there for corporate function. Absolute zero service was not offered drinks once. I played barman for you table and opened and poured wine. Pity for such a nice venue.
We took a client for lunch. We all had lamb which was nice. Desert was terrible, a dried piece of chocolate brownie and strawberry ice cream (which did not go well together). I was horrified when the bill came and it was R2000 for 4 guests. Most definitely not worth what we paid for. Will not go back again.
