My wife and i ordered the lunchtime special, a chicken burger with fries.it came with a bottomless cup of filter coffee.The presentation was mouth watering, the chicken patty was king-size, the bun fresh, the salads and garnishing tasty, the sauce just up my taste-street.The service was fast and friendly.In short: a lunchtime treat.We will be going back there for a bite, that’s for sure.Thank you.
Something really dishonest is happening here. I ate at the restaurant on 5 March and they handwrote the bill. I submitted it for a claim and when my company contacted them, the manager said it’s something they never do. Really dodgy business practices at Portobello.That said the waiters are lovely.The food is average, eggs benedict was served on store bought bread, jam for scones and muffins is a little plastic commercial jam container. They really don’t put much effort into the food they make.
