My hubby and I stumbled across this place in the south. We were pleasantly surprised. The entire venue is quaint and relaxing with activities for kids and adults such as trampolines and a well kept animal farm. For adults they offer wine tasting and a look through a wonderful art gallery. We ate at the art farm restaurant. I had a prawn and bacon flambe while my hubby had a beef masala. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. They have amazing options for larger family events. Will definitely come here again.
I enjoyed my birthday feast with my family there this week. 10 people, 5 to 85 years old. We all had different starters and different mains, and one desert: No complaints all round. Décor in a room of the old farmhouse was great, and a log fire roared. An attentive yet unobtrusive waiter rounded off the perfect evening.
We were a party of 10 people really enjoyed the food. Service was good definitely will be back in summer have a few drinks by the pool. Thumbs up
Even at 1,0 it’s a stretch unfortunately 0 is not an option. Arrived with all the optimism for country style dinning and was instead greeted with a 25 minute wait for a coffee that never came because it’s since been removed from the menu. Poorly trained or perhaps hardly trained waiters which are uninformed about the menu as well as an absurd waiting time for the food and drinks to arrive. When our drinks finally arrived the glasses seemed as if the had simply been taken off another table as there where lip stains, finger prints and food still on the glass! As for the food I am in awe at how they are comfortable serving six (yes I counted) exceptionally under cooked parcels of butternut ravioli for R98 and the only flavor coming from this excuse of a dish was the mountain of Parmesan cheese thrown on top. Disgusted at this restaurant and would not step foot in its direction let alone in its doors.
