We had been to the restaurant about 12 years ago on a Father’s Day and have been wanting to go back since. We visited today 29 Dec. What a disappointment. Firstly the positives it is a nice drive out and the restaurant is in a lovely location. The staff were attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the menu is very limited, quality of food average and the prices very very high fow what you get. We had ordered the Rump steak at R245, lamb chops at R230 I think and cheeseburger all tasting very average. The place feels a little run down and pubish. Perhaps our expectations were too high but sorry to say it will probably be another ten years before we try this one again.
