Drove all the way there on Saturday 6th Jan with the family only to discover the place was closed. Website & Facebook page stated they were open! No answer to the cellphone numbers given. Not impressed at all!
What has happened to this magical place? I was heartbroken to bring my little girl here and the Cove is a shadow of its former self. Look, the food was never great even when it had different owners but the magic is hone. What a waste of a 40 minute drive
We decided to have brunch at Goblins Cove, I was very disappointed. The staff were so unfriendly and not very helpful at all, didn’t even bother to show us to a table. After all that we still had to wait a while for our waiter to arrive, didn’t even bother to eat anything just had a drink and left. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
Beautiful Forrest setting that captures the imagination but that is where it ends. As winter is a approaching hot chocolate on a crisp morning is alway a winner. BUT NOT MADE WITH WATER, that is just wrong!! Sorry was too scared to try the food.
For me the food is secondary to this magical place. In fact the mere fact that they have it on offer is just a bonus. The atmosphere, ambiance and amazing creative sculptures and decor is why you visit here ! Truly a fantasy land come alive.
