The Bridge Bistro at De Hoek Country Hotel is aptly named as it provides just that scenery-wise. I have been out to De Hoek several times to eat at The Conservatory over the years so this was my first visit to Bridge and I could not have been more impressed with both it’s contemporary, open glass-enclosed dining room and its food!*Recommendation: A lovely weekend venue for a drive from Johannesburg! For more, find me on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter: LaurasWorldza
Beautiful view, delicious food and such a great spot to enjoy a nice brekkie. Breakfast is a standard set price, so it’s pretty pricey if you’re really just looking for a quick bite and go while ambling through Magaliesburg.
After hosting 2 events for our clients at De Hoek Country Hotel, I can say the drive down from the bridge to the views of De Hoek Country Hotel and The Bridge Bistro, your day starts off with a bang! The welcome from the assisting General Manager Henry, will give you a warm welcome and make anything you need happen, possible. Head waiter Sam works hand in hand with Henry to complete service on time and to get the job done. I can say the stay over is fantastic, with a break away from the city. A 5 course Dinner at the Bridge Bistro compliments the evening were fine dining takes place and the menu designed by the head chef is phenomenal.
