Went to Fire & Ice for my boys 13th Birthday and the service since arriving was excellent. We never made a reservation and since we’ve arrived the staff had been friendly and efficient. The Burgers were delicious and off-course the milkshakes morish, well at least the ones we ordered. The drinks and food menu is extensive. I Really enjoyed the different burger options and combinations and the yummiest sweet potato fries. It was a beautiful Pretoria evening and we sat next to the swimming pool. The vibe and ambiance was classy and chilled. The staff went out of their way to make the evening special. Can recommend the F&I.
For dinner tonight, I made a reservation at the Fire & Ice in Menlyn. We arrived and was welcomed at the door (lucky us, as Marriott members, we received a free glass of wine). We were shown to our table and served by Dudu. The menu had quite a variety and started off with some drinks. Also placed our starters order and due to the restaurant being busy, it took a while for the starters to arrive. The same went for the mains and waited extra long for the desserts. Ratings for the food:Starters: 3/5Springbok carpaccio, mussel pot, spicy tigerMains: 4/5Butter chicken, pork belly, slow stewed lamb, fillet and buddha bowl (with extra chicken)Dessert: 5/5Organ failure, choc-a-holic, double top deckerThere were times where we looked for Dudu, but the service was ok. I want to give a 4, but for the long wait, I had to give it a 3. Will return for the lovely dishes we had.

Had dinner here because of the Entertainer app. Ordered the sliders and it was delicious. There is a great variety of burgers to choose from. Staff is really friendly and the manager is involved. Highly recommend if you are a burger lover. Definitely returning to try their milkshakes.
Very beautiful set-up and ambiance. ‘Ulusu nedombolo’ is my go to meal when I visit this place. It’s delicious! Service could definitely be better as it’s often slow. Overall good restaurant.
