Not going to sugar coat this review. The location and venue is great, the food was a serious let down. I opted out of the costly buffet and ordered from the menu. A chicken mayo savoury pancake! Did I make a terrible mistake. The pancake portion size was great but they smothered rich white sauce all over it. If this was a mince pancake it would have complemented the flavour but pouring it all over a mayonnaise pancake completely ruined the taste. I had a heavy sauce on top of a thick Pancake filled with tough dried out pieces of cardboard chicken in generic mayonnaise. Seriously bad combo. I have a suspicion that the leftover chicken was used to make the filling. It was a very unpleasant experience. Did not enjoy and will never order that again. If it was accompanied by a sliver of lemon or drizzled with corriander dressing it would have been lovely but please stop ruining it with tough pieces of chicken, cheap mayo and overboard sauce.

I asked for a cup of plain hot water, and to my surprise was charged R9.90. I love chips, but today was not a good experience – oil soaked chips is definitely not a tasty treat.Will we return? Hopefully never.
