After a whole of galavanting around what I’d now like to call the menlyn city ( this no longer constitutes a mall it’s crazy huge) anyway our tour landed use here for lunch. I’m very iffy about seafood places that smell fishy because that obviously means the fish isn’t fresh which is so disappointing coz I was quite lis for fish. Went for prawn and chicken curry, proper curry with a kick but the accompaniments where rather disappointing an oily popedom with some stale reheated rice. The service was good and the vibes chilled if they could focus on getting fresher fish that would be great.

The food took a while to be prepared but that was to be expected somewhat. The waiter checked up on us regularly, as I enjoyed my fruit cocktail juice whilst waiting waiting for the meal. It’s an ok place with a decent menu, good service Divine Rakau
I had a craving for sushi and we stumbled upon this place thinking CTFM was still there. Needless to say we were welcomed by a friendly waiter and got served immediately. I opted for the Bachelor platter whilst my sister had the Mussel pot starter. They were out of fishcakes for the platter bit our waiter added a extra portion of calamari to my meal. The mussels were AMAZING!! Big and properly cleaned! We will definitely be back soon!
Our 1st experience at Oyster Inc in Menlyn was great! The service received was friendly and professional – attentive without being over-bearing. I had a sirloin steak with steamed vegetables – couldn’t have been more well-prepared. We will definitely be back 🙂
