Atrocious service thanks to rude staff. Most of the food ordered was tasteless and inedible. The restaurant while neat and relatively clean has no atmosphere whatsoever. Really not a place worth your time.
Host didn’t let us know restaurant was closing at 3′ so we were rushed after we ordered, while eating another waitress brought us the bill saying we must pay because kitchen is closing. Service was terrible food not great. 1 waiter (unfortunately didn’t get her name) was very kind enough to apologise for the terrible service received.
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! Great relaxing and luxury ambience. The food is lovely prepared and it was an overall filling experience, the unique flavours meshed so beautifully. I would recommend for a dinner with friends and family.
I was very excited to hear Shun De had opened a restaurant in Pretoria as I have eaten at the Cyrildene establishment before and was extremely impressed with the food. This branch did not disappoint, same quality of food in a beautiful restaurant. I only ordered from the dim sum menu and everything we ordered was delicious. There is not another place that I know of in Pretoria that serves such a wide variety of dim sum at such reasonable prices. Authentic food, absolutely beautiful restaurant and attentive staff. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try some authentic Chinese food. I will definitely be back.
