I had high expectations when I tried out this restaurant. It’s nicely located with good views of Times Square. The service was average. The menu is short (and sweet? I don’t know) and the food wasn’t as amazing as I anticipated. I ordered the Picanha and the steak was more done than I prefer. The M&M cocktail that the waiter suggested was really tasty with the right amount of ‘kick’.
The food was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The prawns tasted like the sea they might as well gave me a plate of sea water even the peri-peri sauce was rancid. My husband had lamb and he said it was tasteless (he couldn’t tell what he was eating) and the veg that accompanied the lamb was so bland, the chicken was edible but no flavour . I was really surprised how bad everything was my kids ordered milkshakes and neither of them took a second sip. The mac and cheese was so bad my son spat it out and my daughters comments were the BEST thing about the restaurant was the paper towels. The staff didn’t seem surprised to be taking full plates of food back I even said to the waitress that the food was so bad, she smiled and never came back to clear the table. It was the most expensive meal WE NEVER ATE! Something’s probably Cooking but it definitely is not very edible.
