Zappas Southdowns.Such a satisfying dining experience.500g sirloin grilled perfectly to my preference and a delicious greek salad for only R69, that’s a giveaway for quality food like that.Service was excellent and eventhough they were busy for Thursday lunch our waiter was very attentive.I highly recommend Zappas at Southdowns.

First time visit to Zappa’s. The restaurant was fairly occupied when we got there. The waiter showed us to the table (ladies in front were not very friendly). Placed drink orders and then mains were ordered. Opted for the ribs and chicken schnitzel (cheese and mushroom sauce). I was quite impressed with the ribs, but the chicken schnitzel was dry and the sauce wasn’t good. For dessert, ordered the sweet belgian waffle. Wow, it was good. Lightweight and soft. Will be back.

After having to ask a waitress twice for a menu it seemed not to be of much worth. The menu is pedestrian and boring, specially considering that they advertise themselves as a Bistro these days. The food cold arrived after an hours wait with burnt bread. It’s true, the food is cheap, but cold burnt food should probably be free
