The Mulberry Tree is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar. A house that was converted. Outside are trees and a swimming pool. The place looks shabby but is clean. Service and welcome friendly and sincere. They serve a good cup of tea, generous and hot in a pretty teacup & saucer.The food was not good at all. Frankly it was terrible. I ordered Steak, egg, pap & chips but caught a whiff of fish when the plate was set in front of me. Perhaps reused oil? The steak was also not fresh. Pap and salad was good but my appetite had gone.Servings are huge and prices real cheap
Great little spot to come and enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner. it is kid and pet friendly and the food is in the true home cooked style. The bar prices are great and is suitable for the whole family.
Ever since they went under new management, the places service has improved, specials are better than ever. Family friendly place during the day and evenings. Had my 21st here, food was great, service was great and they did all.they could to make it special. Would highly recommend it.
