After studying at UP for 5 years, I have not discovered this place until now. It’s a very nice and relaxing place, but they should try and advertise themselves a little more. A Facebook page, or a bigger sign?
I have loved coming here since I started studying 4 years ago – the vibe is relaxed yet you are still able to try do some work. The service is good and although the food options aren’t overwhelming they are well prepared and tasty. Very god spot to take a break from the stress of campus.
Study time has never been this enjoyable. Conveniently across from Nerina and a bottomless coffee special to fuel your fading brain capacity as exams drain you dry. The coffee is complimentary with any meal. I selected the bacon and cheese omelette, which was was scrumptious, all but the overly mature cheese which was too rich for my palate. For a study break we treated ourselves to smoothies, the peanut butter and banana was magical and just the sugar boost needed. Definitely the new study hang out for the year Anna Potgieter
The Hub is very conveniently situated across the UP, we offer free parking if you are a customer of The Hub, free wi-fi, outside seating with smoking area, you can bring your own hubbly, study area, pool tables, coffee shop and take-aways, businesses and people working remotely will find the spot extremely convenient for meetings, or in between meetings.
