Wow! Sat at the bar so I could use my laptop with plug sockets. All the waitresses ignored me. Had to ask for a menu which was brought to me by a miffed waitress coz I had told her off. Eventually had to call another waitress to serve me even thought they were serving all the tables around me. Pathetic service. Be careful about sitting at the side (bar style tables), friggin livid!

Totally surprise. Really great food. Had apepper steak pie. Sauce and salad. R42 worth the money. Rwmember. A pie ia a pie. More doe than meat. But on the other hand this was a good portion. Chicken prego. Stunning except for the big bun.

Stopped by here after a friends appointment for breakfast. I must say this place is lovely! The staff are friendly, not that attentive though, but they were busy. We ordered drinks – cappuccino, chai latte and red cappuccino. The chai latte was the only good one, the cappuccino was not strong at all and the red cappuccino just tasted like rooibos tea. We then ordered breakfast and wow was it amazing! Everything from the sausage to the eggs and rye toast was divine! The only fault was that the bacon wasn’t crisp.. the carrot cake is apparently really good too, unfortunately none was in stock.

In the past I have had countless take away cups of hot chocolate or cappuccinos from Netcafé at Unitas Hospital. All were delicious. It is a cheerful place though with a captive audience. Today a friend and I had an impromptu lunch. They were busy and service was slow. My cappuccino was lukewarm, something that had never happened before with the take aways. We had Fish and Salsa, a light, healthy lunch, and Toasted Cheese & Tomato on brown. Side salads were fresh & crispy with lovely feta. Mediocre grilled (from frozen) fish was made palatable by a spicy sweetish relish. The ranch sauce was not good. Not bad for hospital food 🙂
