A friend & I met up at Smaak, because neither of us has been there and it looked pleasant. We chose to sit outside as inside was quite open and our voices echod slightly. The decor of Smaak fits, but unfortunately our table’s legs were wonky and that was irritating.The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are big. My friend ordered the quiche and she said it was great. Both of our drinks were served on dated silver plates with a little white ceramic containers filled with a biscuit. The presentation was really sweet. The scone was really fresh and crumbly and I enjoyed it. My recommendation to Smaak would be to add some more cakes to the menu (there was only one cake when we arrived) and to please play some music – it would serisouly lighten up Smaak’s atmosphere.
