Dear Karoo. Thank you for ruining my cheat meal this week. I really don’t know why I keep going back to this place, but they keep on disappointing.My meal:*Pork Belly Roast  Slowly cooked with crispy cracklingThey got everything wrong. The meat part was dry and overcooked, and there was no crackling (neither a snap or a pop) to the skin. I rarely leave a plate full of food, but the under cooked fat made me a bit nauseous. All I really want is to talk to my future self and remind him never to return here.
Popped in for a quick lunch before movies. My steak was decent (even if a bit under) and onion rings and chips really nice. Sadly the wife had no such luck. The R 70 Frozen Mango gin cocktail was terrible. No mango (they use a flavour not real mango) and it tasted like dilute gin water (the manager did remove it from the bill after I complained). Her fillet was grossly underdone which in my opinion is a mortal sin for a meat restaurant and the spinach was gritty (obviously not washed). Service was average.Overall a poor experience especially considering the prices. Dont think we will be back soon.
