Second time having dinner here. Food is good. Service was very slow. Ambience is okay. Acoustics suck! We were a table of 8 people and conversation was useless as we couldn’t hear each other.

On recommendation from a friend, Buffelsfontein Beesboerdery was the restaurant of choice for lunch. I think we came after the lunch rush and were seated immediately. Drinks and starter orders were taken by our friendly waitress (Megan). Not sure of the kitchen was very busy, but we waited more than a reasonable time for our starters. Needless to say, my snail pot was very creamy and I enjoyed it. The other starter was a “Boere Tartare” (feedback was good). For mains, we opted for the Buffelsfontein burger with chips and bone marrow sauce(huge burger) and a rump steak with creamy spinach. Loved the bone marrow sauce!! Burger and steak was good. Finished off with creamy coffee milkshakes which were excellent! Will be back.

We had a family lunch there on 23.12.2018. Food was good. Service was good. GIN was good. Our waitress was a ray of sunshine and the bill not as high as I thought it would be. Can definitely recommend them.

Good service from waiting staff. Good tasting food, presented in a large vice. Nice idea. Meat had a lot of fat though. So not entirely sure it was worth the price we paid, pretty far away as well. Wouldn’t rush to make the trip again.
