We went to Luini’s for an event, paid R50 entrance that included a free glass of wine on arrival. Paid the entrance, when we requested the wine we were (rudely) informed that they were not giving us the complementary wine. Others who had arrived earlier and already received wine were charged for it. I ordered Neapolitan pasta, which was mediocre and contained more raw garlic than actual pasta. My companion ordered the Colosseum pizza (menu only indicates “chili”), which was extremely hot. The menu should indicate that this item is beyond the normal standard of “hot”. I’ve heard good things about Luini’s, might give it another try when they’re not hosting a (poorly planned) event.
Amazing. Our favourite restaurant in Pretoria! The service is always great, and the food is amazing. We love the chilled atmosphere, we always feel welcome.
