Would have given a 1 star but the cocktails were excellent. Not value, and not fine dining to pay these amounts for so little.Ordered meze ~R300, and one plate pitched up. We’ve calculated the sausage rand-per-cm to be around R10 (R50 for 5cm of sausage). The table next to us also had something to say about the portion sizes when their baklava came to their table – guy prodded it with his pinky for dramatic effect.Having a restaurant in Hazelwood be a at 20% capacity a week after payday is definitely telling.Fool me once.
Colourful interior and extensive menu. We had a meze platter for two, which turned out to be a lot of food. Deliciously prepared. In our search for the world‘s best skordalia, I’m afraid it’s still on
So I had a spinach pie and a frappe on a hot Sunday morning which brought back memories of Greek summer. The restaurant is small, intimate and plays traditional music. You really feel that you are in a little taverna on the beach. All that is missing is the beach. Worth it.
