Arrived on Sunday morning at 10am for breakfast and was made to feel totally unwelcome. Was greeted by a waiter who took 2 minutes arguing with his friends about seating us. Being able to understand their language I realised they were not truly interested in our patronage because they were fully booked for LUNCH. After seating myself at a table not one single waiter made an effort to serve us. We left 15 minutes later after zero interaction with a single staff member. It has been a long while since I was treated like this in any restaurant in South Africa. Its a pity because I am sure if the owner was there this would not have happened.
If you want a place where the little ones can dissappear for a few hours then this is the place to go. We had such an awesome time here. Kids were entertained which left us dad’s and mom’s to chat, enjoy a few cold ones and just relax. Food was awesome. If you are snobby and want wine glasses on the table with starched table clothes, then rather stay away. The most relaxed vibe I’ve experienced in a very long time. We will definitely be back. Patrick, thanks for accommodating all my requests and providing an awesome venue for families.
Very cool decor and very nice atmosphere. They need a little more improvement with some things. I did ask for the fly to be removed from a bowl with cheese in, then got it back with a piece of hair and it looked like it was scraped up from the floor 🙁 and the waiter dont really understand much. That would be my only reason for low rating but otherwise very kwl place. Hope this kind of things will change then they will definitely see more people in their garden.
