I don’t think ever experienced such dreadful service at a restaurant before. The food was average – I enjoyed the risotto ball starters, but the calamari was tough and the ice cream accompanying dessert had an unpleasant texture. We waited a total of four hours for all our courses to arrive, and dishes came in drips and drabs. We had even preordered our meals beforehand. I would never come here again based on this experience.
My daughter, her fiancé and myself enjoyed a very nice dinner at your restaurant last night. A pity that the price online per dish and the actual price differ greatly. Which is the correct price, the online price or the restaurant price. When my daughter showed me the online menu, I thought it was reasonable but I was not happy with the inflated prices. In fact i asked my daughter if she had shown me the correct menu online. I can’t say that I would be back as it turned out an expensive evening.
First time at African Peninsula Restaurant and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Really good food, with attentive staff and a beautiful setting made for a really good evening. Will be back!
A beautiful hidden gem on the Bluff! Beautiful sea views, food that never disappoints and dessert is always number 1, I’ve never experienced bad food upon visiting. This gem is a perfect spot for wedding receptions and birthday celebrations too.The only downfall is how early their kitchen closes.
