This restaurant is at the bottom of a very lively Davenport Road however we were the only patrons on this particular Friday at lunch time. I found that surprising but they do have heavy competition from CaneCutters which is situated directly opposite. The service was very friendly and fast (obviously). The menu is extensive ranging from curries to grills. We had traditional mutton bunnies which was a good spice level, not too hot and so enjoyable. There was plenty of gravy and a beautiful big potato right on top. Although tasty, I didn’t think there was anything special about the food. There are numerous other bunny places waiting to be tried so I doubt we’ll be back. I did hear that there’s a buffet with a live band on Sundays so maybe that’s a draw card for those interested.
The food was fresh and really tasty. Good masala taste and just the right amount of heat. We had the Prawn and chicken curry with rice and Lamb curry and rice. Good service
Purchased 4 curries. The quantities varied drastically amongst all 4. Management did not take the necessary steps to rectify the issue. Poor customer service experienced.
Purchased a medley of 3 veg curries for R120. Curries were served in 250ml containers, one of which was half full and another with literally two table spoons of curry. Called the store to notify them. The matter was not rectified for a few hours, called again and was advised they had forgotten. Attempted to contact them for the third time, call was rejected and phone there after switched off. Worst service ever received from any take away or restaurant.
