Haven’t been here in years and I liked the vibe so thought I try it out on a special occasion thinking that it would be authentic as everyone says. Our food was not good and I don’t criticize often but I ordered a lamb sandwich and the lamb was tough and chewy, the bread was as hard to break my teeth and no flavour or sauce. I did not enjoy myself at all and it was very very quiet, atmosphere was a bit drab, had a few dancers and music was very loud that you can barely hear yourself talk. I did like the face painting which was probably the only thing I liked.
Terrible service! Went there for dinner only to be disappointed. Service was absolutely shocking, the tables weren’t set. After requesting 2 wine glasses three times, I got up to take the glasses from another half set table. Only 1 set of cutlery on a table for 4, which we also had to get ourselves. The only reason why I’m not rating them 1 star is because the food was enjoyable.
Service is poor. Wait so long for the waiters to acknowledge you. Place is never clean always untidy. Chicken wings were tasteless. My ratings are purely for the magnificent views of our lovely city Durban.
Very disappointed in Moyo at UShaka, we have been to the one at Spier wine farm which was fabulous and I wanted to show the family how amazing it is but it was not nice at all. The steel tables and chairs was very uncomfortable and the place was very dark and hot. We waited 10 min for a waiter to bring menus and almost every thing we wanted to order was out of stock. When the drinks finally arrived it was 45min after the order was placed.
