The bacon and cheese pancake was well received by a 7 year critic. There is ample seating space. A play area for the kids would be great.There is a shop by the restaurant that sells the freshest rolls.The service and cleanliness can be improved.
Average at best. The setting is comfortable and pleasant – and that’s about as good as it gets. Service is impersonal and unattentive, and for a restaurant that supposedly specializes in pancakes I was completely underwhelmed. I had the Milk Tart filled Pancake which was about as bland as a piece of cardboard – completely lacking in any form of flavour. The pancakes in general and thick and heavy and nothing to get excited about.There is plenty of alternative competition available in Dullstroom, so spend your money wisely and avoid Harries Pancakes.
