We watched the super rugby final and only had breakfast. While the pub was extremely busy the waiter kept us satisfied and the food was good. Worth popping in for a beer or two.
Poachers saved us from a night of starvation. We came from out of town on a Sunday and Poachers was still open at 20h15. We had the ribs, wings and pizza.We had mixed feelings about the food. The chicken wings could have been grilled further. The ribs were okay. They fell of the bone with ease. The pizza was the star of the night. It was a firm favourite. It was approved by a 7 year old fussy eater as well.The service was good and food pricing fair.

Food was delicious, from pot pie, to burgers, to ribs, to chicken ! Service was a bit slow seeing that the restaurant wasn’t even busy. I loved the pub feeling. I was a bit disappointed by the pot pie, pay a lot of money for something that doesn’t really stand out from the rest of the menu. Would definitely visit again.
