We stayed at the Lodge and had dinner at the restaurant. We were well received upon entry and the service was good with stunning views of the pond.The food was okay. The kiddies ribs were a generous portion and well received. The oxtail was okay but 1 piece (the big 1) was undercooked. The lamb shank was the best. It was well cooked, paired with mash and other veggies. The malva was sweet (as it should be, more custard would have been great served in a bowl anf not the flat plate which makes it hard to eat).Value for money is fair and it’s a definite must try when staying on site.
Overlooking a lake you will most probably come here for pretty lake views. I had chicken schnitzel it could be more juicy and tender as was slightly tough, I would definitely come here for drinks as premises is beautiful.
Excellent, professional service & heavenly good food. Beautiful view of the dam & waddling ducks. Fantastic restaurant for a formal dinner or casual lunch & breakfast. I’m anxious to come again & experience this wonderful venue!
