Mugg & Bean has an amazing customer service. Everything was on point. However the most important didn’t settle well with me. I almost starved. Not only because it took so long but their vegetarian meals are definitely not every vegetarians dream. They could work on their menu. Though I know it’s not their fault but the franchises. This is probably why not many of my vegetarian friends come here for lunch.
Nice location with various seating options to choose from. A vibrant menu with interesting food and delicious drinks. The service, however, was extremely slow – even though there weren’t many people in the restaurant and we only ordered coffee and cake. Ensure to ask the waiter/ waitress whether the cake was freshly baked on the day of ordering it, otherwise it tends to be very dry.
The service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes for our coffee. I would understand the delay if it was some difficult coffee that requires a lot of time to prepare but it was not. And they cannot argue that the kitchen was under a lot of pressure because not even half of the tables were occupied. Then to make matters worse is the fact that I asked the waiter for the bill but they failed to return. Then while calling another waiter they looked at us and turned around ignoring us. So needles to say I will never be returning because of the terrible service.
Great service and food feels like it is becoming progressively more plastic and mass produced somewhere else and then dished up. The bain of a chain getting too big. The polenta cakes part of the Tamale breakfast was pretty awful.
The Mugg & Bean Riverside Mall is a great restaurant with a beautiful deck. The service is awesome and the franchise’s menu is consistent with generous portions
