Went to Primi for some starters and some drinks. Service of Blessing was very friendly. Had Primi poppers- very good. The Bloomin onion was also not bad, although chili aioli was not really what you would expect. The Italian meatballs was a little dry and the Avo Salsa crostini was the bomb! The Jerk Chicken wings was good, would have grilled it a little more though and you could taste that the sauce was mass produced, but the chips was very good and crispy. Had a strawberry jam jar- stays a classic and must have at any Primi. The apple rose dessert was a disappointment. Description says served hot with caramel sauce and ice cream. Puff pastry was tough and most likely just defrosted in a microwave. This was a real letdown. You could also win a price if you could find the apple in this dessert. Overall we had a good evening and would visit again and then try the pasta and pizza which is the specialities of Primi.

So we visited this place after seeing the other restaurants inside the mall and being dissatisfied with their ambience and menus. The waiters were all very friendly and we had the California Chicken Pizza. It was very tasty! We sat on the deck area but as it was evening, it started getting cold and the waiters brought us a heater. Definitely well worth the visit to this particular Primi.
Ordering a Salami pizza but received a pizza with 4 small thin slices of salami divided in 8 halves on the pizza. After complaining manager told me that the Head of the Kitchen was supposed to check, I ask to see him/her. But nobody appear and after enquiry again the manager told me that he can handle it and I was supposed to informed him immediately then he would bring more salami. This is not the point. If I order a Salami pizza I want to taste salami not fight for it.
The worst experience ever. Took my guests to Primi to try their Pescatore Pasta, which I’ve had at least 4/5 times before and really enjoy. It took 1h30min for our food to arrive and I could immediately notice something was off (literally). The pasta was a grayish color and smelt extremely fishy. The calamari looked like chewed up gum and the prawns, at least I assume they were prawns, resembled a rotten oyster. Everyone at the table, bar myself, refused to taste it. It tasted exactly like the meal you would have just before having go to hospital. Here’s the kicker: the manageress checked with the kitchen staff who confirmed that the prawns went off, and in spite of this fact decided to send our four plates out anyway. They comped the two focaccia breads which we had for starters (they were very nice), but I’m afraid this experience may put me off from Primi Nelspruit for life.
